Refund Policy

Effective date: October 2025

Thank you for shopping with SurroundSonic. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy, we offer a 30‑day money-back guarantee (or exchange) under the terms below.

1. 30‑Day Guarantee / Return Window

You have 30 calendar days from the date you received the product to request a refund or exchange. After 30 days, we cannot offer a refund (unless item is defective — see Section 4). We will however replace any defective items after 30 days of use.

2. Eligibility for Return, Refund or Exchange

To be eligible for a refund or exchange under the 30-day guarantee policy, the item must meet all of the following:

  • The product must be returned to SurroundSonic FIRST (including all accessories, chargers, etc.) prior to transaction processing by SurroundSonic.

  • You must provide proof of purchase (order number, invoice, receipt).

  • The return request must be initiated within the 30-day window following receipt of the product.

  • NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER 30 DAYS. However we will provide product exchanges for defective products.

To be eligible for an exchange AFTER the 30-day window, the item must meet all of the following:

  • The product must be defective or inoperable and product MUST be returned to SurroundSonic for inspection prior to exchange.

  • You must provide proof of purchase (order number, invoice, receipt).

  • The return request must be initiated within our 1-year warranty window.

If the item shows signs of damage outside normal use, (other than that due to shipping or our error) we reserve the right to deny the exchange.

3. How to Return / Request a Refund

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Product details

  • Reason for return.

We will provide instructions for returning the product. Ship the item back to us (see “Return Shipping” below). Please include all packaging and documentation (if possible). Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of approval or rejection of the refund or exchange.

4. Defective or Damaged Items

If the product is defective or was damaged during shipping, we will cover the return shipping cost and either refund you in full or send a replacement (your choice). You must report defects or damage due to shipping within 10 days of receipt so we can arrange for return or replacement promptly. Defects found after 10 days and up to 30 days after receipt will be honored if it's deemed to be a valid defect.

5. Refund Method & Timing

If your return is approved:

  • We will refund via the same payment method you used when ordering (credit card, PayPal, etc.).

  • The refund (less any applicable deductions) will be processed within 5 business days of our inspection and approval.

  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, the time for the funds to appear in your account may vary (up to 7–10 business days or more).

6. Return Shipping & Costs

For returns due to change of mind / buyer’s regret, not satisfied with product (within 30-day window) the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. For returns due to defect, damage, or our error, we will cover or reimburse the return shipping cost. Shipping fees originally paid (for sending the item to you) are non-refundable, unless we made an error (e.g. shipped wrong product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing insurance (if needed), since we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

7. Restocking Fee / Deductions

We may decide to include a restocking fee (e.g. 10–20 %) for returns that are unused but opened, or deduct from the refund for missing accessories, or damage beyond what's acceptable. If we choose to add a restocking fee or other deductions we will notify you.

9. Exchanges

If you'd prefer an exchange (for the same product) rather than a refund, you may request that option in your return request. Exchanges are subject to the same eligibility, condition, and shipping rules listed above.
